“Let’s go,” Joseph said, jamming the iced tea into his drink holder and starting the car.

She frowned, staring down at it. “What, you really didn’t get me one?”

He was quiet for a second, then began to drive as he spoke: “No. They’re $1.25 now. Can you believe it?”
